The story is set at a lake in the summer time. A little boy discovers he can understand and speak to Lobsters at the grocery store. He then sets out on an adventure to visit all the "little Lobsters" (crawfish), which he refers to as Obbies, and meet their leader; King Obby, the Blue. The book follows the boy as he snorkels around the lake where his parents and he vacation. Meant for younger readers, the text is simple and easy to follow while the illustrations elaborate and fun. Small children will delight in the vivid colors and somewhat comic depictions throughout the story.
